Dr Marion McGarry is an Irish historian based in Sligo. Author of four books, she is also a heritage consultant and illustrator. She lectures at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT). She has a Master's Degree in art history (University of Limerick) and a PhD (Ulster University).
